To install IRO, run InstallIRO.exe. You will be asked where you want to save the IRO, and whether you want a shortcut created on the Desktop.
IRO does not make any changes to your operating system and uninstalls cleanly.
It can be run from a hard drive, a zip drive, a thumb drive, or a CD (assuming the files created by IRO can be saved to a writable drive).
To run IRO, either use the shortcut on the Desktop or move to the folder containing the files and select the application IRO, that is, IRO.exe.
If you find any bugs, please cut and paste any error messages, describe what you were doing at the time, and email this information, together with the IRO version number, to David Lovelock. Thank you.
To update IRO make sure it is not running and then overwrite the old IRO files with the updated IRO files.
To uninstall IRO, delete the folder containing the IRO files, and delete the shortcut on the Desktop.
The IRO Manual is part of IRO. It can be accessed from within IRO by going to 'SAR Docs and Forms' and choosing 'IRO Manual'. It can also be downloaded directly: IRO Manual.
